Nepal Academy Of Fine Arts, the esteemed institution dedicated to promoting fine arts in Nepal, is gearing up to host the highly anticipated National Fine Art Exhibition-2080. The event, following its annual schedule, promises to be a grand display of artistic talent and creativity, featuring a remarkable selection of artworks from a multitude of genres. This year's exhibition is particularly noteworthy, as it presents an extensive collection of 697 artworks created by 610 talented artists. The showcased pieces were meticulously chosen from a pool of 754 submissions by 652 artists registered with the establishment, showcasing the diverse and vibrant art scene in Nepal.The exhibition will be categorized into various genres, each highlighting the unique expressions and techniques employed by the artists. National Fine Arts Exhibition-2080

The highly anticipated "National Fine Arts Exhibition-2080" is set to take place from Jestha 15th to 30th this year, according to an announcement made during a press conference held at the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) on Sunday. A Thought-Provoking Cartoon: Reflecting on Road Safety Awareness

During the 7th UN Road Safety Week, an enlightening road trip cartoon exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Nepal Road Safety Council, Nepal Police, Rotary Club International, Road Safety Society of Nepal, and Cartoonist Club of Nepal. From May 15 to 18, visitors had the opportunity to explore 30 remarkable cartoons by 26 talented cartoonists. Among the thought-provoking artworks, Deepak Gautam's cartoon stood out, shedding light on the tendencies of road users and emphasizing the importance of following traffic rules. Today, I want to share an cartoon I created for the recent cartoon exhibition held at the Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal, on the occasion of the United Nations 7th Road Safety Week. I'm excited to have one of my cartoons displayed among the 30 captivating artworks by 26 cartoonists. In this blog post, I will provide a detailed description of my cartoon and the underlying message it conveys about the importance of responsible driving and road safety. Depicting the Consequences of Speeding: The focal point of my cartoon revolves around the ominous presence of two personified accidents engaged in a conversation. Placed on a highway, they are anxiously awaiting a ride while exchanging a haunting remark: "Don't wait too long. The car is coming faster." This dialogue aims to convey a strong message that driving at high speeds significantly increases the risk of accidents.
